My warmest congratulations to all our completers of Kindergarten, Elementary, Junior High School, and to our first batch of Senior High School graduates from both public and private for this school year 2017-2018. Congratulations to all of you!
It is a long way to get to the finish line of completing basic education but this is for a purpose of equipping you with the necessary skills. We claim under the Enhanced Basic Education Act that, “Ang Batang K to 12 ay handa sa Trabaho o Kolehiyo, Handa sa Mundo.”
My dear students, the world we live in is quite challenging. Though the school tries its best to equip you with knowledge and skills, it is how you respond to these challenges matter. Life’s greatest opportunities are fulfilled by facing life’s greatest challenges. All you need is a positive attitude and a constant attempt to show your best effort. By then, you eventually will overcome your immediate problems and find that you are ready for greater challenges.
According to Michelle Obama, wife of Former US President Barrack Obama, “you should never view your challenges as disadvantage. Instead, it’s important for you to understand that your experience facing and overcoming adversity is actually one of your biggest advantages.” At the end, no matter what kind of challenges or difficulties or painful situations you go through in your life, you have something to hold on to – your education. Above all, find the inner strength to combat life’s intricacies with the help of our Almighty One.
Again, my earnest congratulations to all of you, and to your parents and guardians as well.
